Job Description:
Business Development Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their skills whilst working for an expanding organization.
Some of the duties include:
- Meet with the Partners on a regular basis to discuss ways on how to increase the client acquisition ratio and improve overall business performance
- Attend and lead meetings with prospects
- Agree fees for Accounts/Tax/Value Added Work with prospective clients
- Take responsibility for training any junior staff and delegate work to them
- Attend networking events and business shows to increase exposure and win new clients either directly or through referrals
You will be confident in managing business development activities and leading a team to achieve business development targets.
You will also have the following skills/attributes:
- proactive and confident approach to work;
- self-starter and self-motivated;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- flexibility to juggle various tasks and commitment to see them through to meet deadlines;
- excellent problem solving and project management skills;
- good IT skills (MS Office applications – including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher);
