Job Details for: Internal Sales Person (Kent)
Key Tasks
The following would encompass an estimated 60% of the working day:
· Deal with incoming enquiries in consultation with Area Sales Manager
· Use an effective questioning technique in order to maximise chances of converting each enquiry and getting good quality accurate information
· Communicate features & benefits of products when dealing with calls
· Generate Sales quotations on Microsoft Word/Acrobat in a consistent, well presented manner from enquiries being dealt with by the ASM as well as oneself.
· Record accurate information for effective follow up of quotations
· Liaise with service/transport desk regarding planning of incoming orders
Additional Tasks
The following would encompass an estimated 40% of the working day:
· Provide assistance to ASM in trying to win new accounts by:
· Running e-marketing campaigns
· Running postal mailers
· Networking off existing clients/customer with incoming enquiries to find potential new contacts in new areas for ASM to visit
· Make pro active phone calls to try and generate interest from new customers/get ASM in for appointment/generate enquiries etc
· Work from project led databases
Occasionally it may be required that other office duties may need to be performed in the event of colleagues unforeseen absence.

· To be able to talk to customers on phone with confidence.
· To be able to think on feet and maximise value of each call.
· To be comfortable selling the features & benefits of our products.
· To have a good understanding of laying out quotes in a neat, consistent manner.
· Team player
· To be organised when recording commercial information.
· Needs to be enthusiastic and ambitious
