Main Responsibilities :

This role forms a strategic part of small team answering directly and collectively to the UK Managing Director.

 

Primarily covering a specific region of the UK but with overlapping responsibility where National Accounts are concerned. You will be required to grow the business and develop relationships with both new and existing customers.

 

The role will require you to be able to remove obstacles and maximise hire and sales opportunities, ensuring that customers always feel fully satisfied in terms of both service and value for money.   

 

General Duties

Use all appropriate means and resources to effectively promote the product range to existing and potential customers in order to achieve the defined revenue targets within the geographical area, and with the appropriate respect for cost control.

Manage and develop open communication and trust, and encouraging innovative thinking.

Monitor key monthly performance data, analyse and report on variances, and where necessary take corrective action to ensure targets are achieved

Provide timely and accurate data in accordance with company reporting requirements and deadlines.

Participate actively in the annual budget process, strategic planning and target setting

Ensure highest priority is given to all aspects of Health and Safety, in line with legal and company requirements

Monitor and report on all competitor activity and product development, follow and report on all relevant industry developments

Organise and/or participate in trade shows/exhibitions as required

Maintain up to date knowledge of the product range and technical application developments

To undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as may be requested
